We will discuss growing orchids outside. This will a presentation by Larry Galdes and interactive discussion by all.

There will be an auction.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

As of April 24, 2004. Income: $76.17 (Dues $35.00, Auction $20.00, Refreshments $7.50, Checking interest $3.67, Repayment of bounced check charge $10.00). Expenses: $134.62 (Postage $9.62, Oak Hill Gardens for speaker mileage, $100.00, American Orchid Society gift as a memorial to Carl Miller $25.00.) Total in the checking account is $2,941.52. Interest of $4.04 makes our savings total $2,158.39.

Once again my back-up treasurer Joe Kanameuler and I are both going to miss the meeting. Shirley Talpa will collect money and bills while I'm away.
