Porter’s Orchids
Meeting:
Porter’s orchids will be here for this months meeting, I do not know what topic they might present at this time. I did see Dot at the Michiana show, and she said she would have a list of things that they would be bringing to me by Tuesday. I will pass that along to email readers when I receive it. They will bring plants, and you may pre order by visiting their web site http://www.portersorchids.com or by calling 888-622-7643.
There
will be NO auction.
TREASURER’S
REPORT:
Income consisted of dues from 3 people for
$30, refreshment donations of $8.25, and Sept. 30 interest of $7.78 ($3.69 in
checking and $4.09 in savings) for a total of $46.03. We paid our speaker from Galaxy Orchids $75. Total money in savings is $2,166.52 and in
our checking account is $2,907.14.
Dues for 2005 can be paid now. They remain at $10 for an individual and $15
for a couple residing together in the same home.

Kubas (373-1070). Everyone brings food
in December. Volunteers for
refreshments in January are Karen Harrison and Peggy Flickenger. We
need two people for February and one more to work with Edith Depta in March
