I
need to offer my apologies for the last minute delivery of the newsletter. It seems that I only scheduled it for a year
in my calendar. Because I did not have
it scheduled, it was nearly forgotten.
Alex
is an AOS judge & life member. He
has a MS in Botany from the University of Michigan, and is the newsletter
editor for the Ann Arbor Orchid Society where he writes a monthly species
column.
He
is now working for New World Orchids, growing primarily species from the Andes.
Many genera Including Pleurothallis, Phragmipedium, Maxillaria, etc.
Has worked for two other species-oriented nurseries in the past - Great
Lakes Orchids & Hoosier Orchids.

Special display:
If possible, bring orchids to be displayed
in the retirement home. They will be
displayed after the Sunday meeting and returned late Wednesday or Thursday.

If we have not received payment for dues
this month, we will be dropping you from the active membership list and the
