TREASURER’S
REPORT:
At the Jan. meeting I distributed copies of
my treasurer's report for the year 2003.
We ended the year with $2,164.35 in our savings account ($2,146.88 at
the end of 2002) and with $2,828.32 in our checking account ($2,477.16 a year
earlier.) I will be happy to send a
copy of the report to anyone who is interested. Our income came mostly from dues ($630) and the plant auctions
($688). Currently 29 individuals or
couples have paid their dues for 2004.
A number of people who have in the past been quite active in the club
have not yet paid their dues and will not get newsletters after this
month. I paid no expenses in
January. We received $133.94 in income
(dues $70, auction $58, and refreshments $5.94) for a checking account total of
$2962.26 on Jan. 25. Ginnie

Thanks
to everyone who braved the frigid weather and slippery roads to put
up
our display and to those that helped with tear-down. Also, thanks to
those
that supplied plants for the display.
